This cannon is representative of one of three cannons the Union's had at the Battle of Ball's Bluff. They had one 12 lb Rifled James cannons from the Battery B, 1st Rhode Island Light artillery. The cannon is near the cemetery near the location where a like cannon was positioned on the day of the battle.
