From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 1.5 miles to the buried corner and reference monuments on the right and left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass caps each on a steel pipe in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. These trees define the location of the true corner which is about 9' W of the FR1420 centerline. The true corner bears N79.3°E, 23.0' distant from the S4 RM and S79.3°W, 42.2' distant from the S34 RM. Each reference monument is marked with an ATTENTION sign mounted on a T-post.
