From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 1.6 miles to FR1420-150, which is blocked with a berm. Turn right on FR1420-150 and continue 0.6 miles to a LOCATION POSTER and the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in mound of stones; at grade
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 370' E from FR1420-150. There is an ATTENTION sign mounted on a T-post. Found two ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. Also found a blowdown, the SE bearing tree, with an ATTENTION sign.
