From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 7.4 miles to the Black Butte Ranch entrance. Turn left and continue on Hawks Beard for about 1.3 miles to a three-way intersection with a triangular, center island. Leave the road or paved bike path and walk cross country about 880' W to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in mound of stones; rising 5"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is a few inches N of a wooden fence and is marked with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and ATTENTION signs mounted on a T-post. Found two pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. There are scribed blazes and a nail with two washers on the NW lodgepole pine.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land S of the corner is Black Butte Ranch property, else National Forest.
