"As a member of the Curry County Centennial Committee, Patsy coordinated such projects as Centennial Cows art project. Original compositions were designed and painted on aluminum cows, purchased by sponsoring businesses, showing both diversity, patriotism to both local community and country, and bring a fun bit of culture to Curry County. In addition to the painted cows, Patsy helped present commemorative centennial coins at all thirteen of Clovis’ elementary schools, a centennial essay and art contest for middle and high school students" ~
