From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 7.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/8" brass cap on pipe in a collar of stones; rising 11"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 110' S from US20. There are two Carsonite posts, one with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals, the other with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign. Found three ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the reverse sides.
What property is this mark defining?:
The land SW of the corner is Black Butte Ranch property, else National Forest.
