Prachatice is a regional capital in the mountain headland of Šumava, at the foot of the mountain Libin. The city is, thanks to several historical buildings, under historical protection.
In 1900 the house was built by Prachatice Sokol and after the reconstruction in 1903 the house was festively opened. It was seat of a number of clubs of the Prachatice Czech minority.
