The Maiden's Tower (
visit link) is one of the best known landmarks of Istanbul, located close to the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, accessible from Uskudar ferry terminal.
From here one can also observe the Bospborus and its amazing maritime traffic, as well as the skyline of Sultanahmet, the oldest part of Istanbul, where the heavyweight touristy places are located.
