Located a few miles SE of Montague, CA is the Big Springs Community Church. In front of the church and near the road is a tall cross made of lava rock from the local area. The cross stands out greatly from the road and from a long distance since very few buildings exists along this stretch of the road and I had to stop and take a couple of pictures.
