Mississippi Valley Christian School displays this history-relating obelisk as a tribute to the former Western Military Academy that was housed in these buildings from 1879 to 1971. The display includes photos and articles about the academy, memories of a cadet’s year, and highlights of notable alumni. An eagle sits majestically on top to further emphasize patriotism.
