The quotation "Our hope the anchor of the soul" runs above the door
and beneath a relief sculpture. The inscription, relief and arches all appear to
be made from terracotta. The relief shows a hand appearing from the crown of the
arch almost holding the shank of an anchor. Carved scrollwork surrounds the
anchor.
The inscription is from Hebrews 6:19. The
