Visitors/exercisers to Miner Field, home of the Yreka Miners football team might notice this water fountain tucked away next to the bleachers and in front of a tree. There's a plaque monumented in front that reads:

DEDICATED TO
BILL KLEAVER & AL McINTYRE
FROM THE
1987 CHAMPIONSHIP
FOOTBALL TEAM

Although I could find no proof online, I am assuming these two men were coaches of the 1987 championship team. I did a little online searching and discovered that Bill Kleaver was an all-state high school baseball player in 1956 at Yreka High School and later played as a halfback for the Oregon State Beavers football team (my alma mater).

As for Al McIntyre, all I could find online was that he served as Yreka High School's athletic director and was Athletic Director of the Year in 1988.

Location: Miner Field
