From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles to the intersection with Green Ridge Road, FR11. Turn right on FR11 and continue for about 0.9 miles. Turn left on FR1105 and continue about 0.6 miles. Park and continue on FR1105, now the Lower Butte Loop Trail, for about 0.8 miles. There is a LOCATION POSTER on a 28" western red cedar on the left, and the corner is on the right, some distance away.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on steel pipe in a mound of stones; rising 9"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is uphill, about 520' N from the Lower Butte Loop Trail. Found four ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags. On the ground near the corner are two lengths of wood lath with red-painted ends.
