Depicted beautiful marble Renaissance portal is the key architectonic element of the Jenštejn House (Jenštejnský dum) located in Husovo námestí (Hus Square) in Beroun historic centre.

The portal, decorated by plant motiffs, two roses and coat of arms of house owner and builder - Jindrich Cížek of Jenštejn, is made of red marble. On the portal you can find Latin inscriptions "BENEDIC DOMINE DOMVM ISTAM HENRICVS CŽIŽEK DE GENSSTEIN ET OMNES HABITANTES IN EA GRATAE POSTERITATI" and also date 1612, assigning finishing of the house' construction.
