From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 0.6 mile to the junction with FR1419-200 (and Potlatch Lane). Turn right and proceed about 0.6 miles to the corner, some distance away on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe in mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The corner is about 1280' N from FR1419-200 and is reached by hiking cross country. It is inches from a rock crib SE fence corner. There are two Carsonite posts, each with PROPERTY BOUNDARY decals and one with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal also. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side of one.
What property is this mark defining?: The land NW of the corner is private property, else National Forest.
