Superior White Water – Carlton, MN - Whitewater Rafting Trips on Waymarking.com

For nearly 30 years Whitewater Rafting has been offering “Thrills…Adventure…Excitement.” Located just 15 miles south of Duluth, the starting point for whitewater rafting trips is along the St. Louis River where professionally led rafting groups travel 2½ hours to the takeout near Jay Cooke State Park. The route combines scenic beauty with thrilling whitewater through remote terrain. They are open from May through September. Participants must be 12 years old or older, must understand English and have good hearing. Kayaks are also for rent for flat water paddling on Lake Carlton.
