This cenotaph was originally placed in 1929 as a memorial to the fallen from World War I. It has since expanded the number of plaques to include the Korean War. It is located in front of the courthouse in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

The cenotaph is well centred in this park that is found in front of the courthouse. The plaque is located on the front of the cenotaph facing the city. There are other plaques that recognize the fallen from all of the wars and in peacekeeping efforts.
