This is a small memorial plaza located at the Lexington Fire Department.

This is a small bricked area alongside the sidewalk in front of the fire department. The plaza is paved with brick, and has low brick walls and some plantings.

A tall granite marker commemorates those who have served in the Lexington Fire Department, and a black granite headstone marks the burial location of "Athos", a beloved Lexington Police Department dog.

There is a bronze marker dedicating this plaza which reads:
