From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles to the intersection with Green Ridge Road, FR11. Turn right on FR11 and continue for about 5.8 miles. Turn left on FR1130 and continue about 3.9 miles to the junction with FR1130-900. Turn left on FR1130-900 and continue about 0.6 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is downhill, about 550' E from FR1130-900. The area burned recently, but the brush in the immediate vicinity of the corner remains very thick. There is a scorched ATTENTION sign mounted on a partly burned Carsonite post. Found two white firs and two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. Found a yellow STATE FOREST BOUNDARY sign and several rusted shiners on the most distant ponderosa pine.
