Durant Regional is a non-towered airport in southern Oklahoma. It is owned and operated by the city of Durant. It was opened in September 1943.
Runway 17-35 is 5001 feet long and 100 feet wide. Fuel is available - both 100LL and JetA - and they usually have very attractive prices. Several different instrument approaches are available for pilots wishing them.
Flight training is available at the FBO. Many of the buildings here seem to be brand new and are quite inviting. Choctaw Casino is nearby and is a favorite attraction for many pilots.
