The Emmanuel Episcopal Church continues as an active Episcopal parish with two services each Sunday. The church is much as described in the Guide and more including Tiffany designed stained glass windows and tunnels beneath it dating to Fort Cumberland which was command by George Washington and later used as part of the underground railroad prior to the Civil War.
