A fairly large campground,
Evans Campground has a slew of amenities, such as water and electric hookups, a sani-dump station, a gazebo for picnicking, a children's playground, beaches and a swimming area, boat launch and a boat dock. It is adjacent to Highway 25 between Northport and Kettle Falls and is part of the
Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
The playground is pretty much in the centre of the campground and washrooms are nearby. A nice restful place for a break while cruising the area.
Right on the 130 mile long lake, this is a great home base for fishing and boating. From here one can even boat into town for supplies, instead of driving.
