The mural replaced a well known portrait of UFF gunman. In 2012, the local business owners decided that a hooded figure with a machine gun and a warning "You are entering loyalist Sandy Row, heartland of South Belfast Ulster Freedom Fighters" is bad for business and got it painted over with this historical reference. The new mural pictures King William III who passed through Belfast in July 1690 and a quote from his address to Williamite troops on the morning of Battle of Boyne.
