Santa Fe Plaza is located at W. Main and 2nd Avenue in downtown Purcell. This small plaza was created in 1994/1995 and pavers in the front walk identify those local citizens and businesses who helped in making this honorarium possible.
There are several hundred names engraved on bricks. One large brick is title "Purcell Memory Lane 1994.
The Plaza contains a memorial to Civil War Confederate soldiers, and to those who fought in Desert Storm. A Santa Fe Railroad caboose (#999608) has been donated in memory of a man who loved the railroad.
A granite star commemorating Oklahoma Statehood is also laid in the walk.
