"Scrapbook Boy" represents many family memories for its sculptor, Tom Bollinger. More so, the work adds to the artistic theme of Mesa's Main Street near the Mesa Arts Center.

Artist Tom Bollinger based this figure on his younger brother who died as a child. The photos in the bronze scrapbook were etched from actual pictures from Tom’s father’s scrapbook.
