Port de Soller is the only place on the west coast of Mallorca with sandy beaches. As a result it is a very popular beach and can get busy in the height of summer. It is one of two beaches at the Port. The sand is a little bit coarse, sometimes a bit gravelly. The sea is very sheltered so you can expect calm, shallow waters at the shore.
A promenade runs along the seafront where you'll find plenty of cafes and restaurants. There is also a tram which connects the port to the town of Soller. This entrance is very close to the tram terminus making it easily accessible without a car when travelling from Soller or places along the route.
Because the beach is so shallow it can be accessed along all its 300 metres length. The co-ordinates are taken close to a site where beach chairs and parasols can be hired.
The beach is a good spot for swimming or just sunbathing. Nude bathing is not not allowed nor are dogs.
