This is the grave marker for Allen J. & Cynthia Brown Davie. Mr. Davie was one of the first settlers of Oregon and among those who voted at Champoeg to form the provisional government of the Oregon Territory. A historical marker affixed to the top of the grave marker by the Daughters of The American Revolution in 1931 describes the event.
