This plow is one of two at the entrance to the Stevens County Museum at 700 North Wynne Street in Colville, WA.

This was the implement that created all the homesteaders' farms all over the world. Versions of this plow are still in use in underdeveloped countries. Mainly drawn by horses, mules, oxen or cattle these plows were ubiquitous until 80 or so years ago. This one was probably horse drawn when used. Manufacturer is unknown.

It is one of the many pieces of agricultural machinery on display at the Museum. Though there is a $5.00 charge to view the main building's displays, the outdoor displays are free to view and available all year. The museum building is closed from October through April.
