This small cemetery adjoins Simsberry Chapel, which is a United Methodist church, at the corner of Missouri Route 90 and State Secondary Route E, also known as Albert E. Brumley Memorial Highway. This corner is known locally as Sims Corner, which is home to (1) Simsberry Cemetery, (2) Simsberry Chapel, (3) a highway maintenance storage building, (4) a house, and (5) an old country store / gas station which is currently unoccupied. (In the 10 years that I have lived in the area, this store has gone through 5 ownerships.) The topo map shows an old school at this corner, but it is gone. The earliest grave in the cemetery seems to be that of Kenneth Dean Sims, who lived just 3 days, from 11 December 1925 to the 13th.
