From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles to the intersection with Green Ridge Road, FR11. Turn right on FR11 and continue for about 5.8 miles. Turn left on FR1130 and continue about 3.9 miles to the intersection with FR1130-900. Turn left and continue about 250' to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in collar of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 180' WSW from FR1130-900. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post. Found a ponderosa pine with healed blaze, yellow BEARING TREE tag and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side. Also found two stumps with scribed blazes.
What property is this mark defining?:
The land SE of the corner is private property, else National Forest.
