The Fall River Guard Station is about 9.5 miles NW of LaPine and near the intersection of S. Century Drive with FR4350 (and FR4250.) Travel generally SE on FR4350 for about 0.3 mile, then turn left on FR4358 and continue about 3.1 miles to a T-junction. Turn left on an unnumbered road and continue about 680' to an E-W wire fence just N of the road. The corner is about 390' E along the fence line.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on steel pipe
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The corner is about 30" S of a wire fence. There is a Carsonite witness post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals. Found a lodgepole pine with scribed blaze, two yellow BEARING TREE tags and an ATTENTION sign on the reverse side. Also found a cut stump with scribed blaze but no tag or sign on the felled section.
What property is this mark defining?: The corner is on the FOURTH STANDARD PARALLEL SOUTH. The S half of T20S R10E S31 is private property, else public lands.
