Ringkøbing Museum har til huse i den tidligere amtslægebolig.
Museet har en udstiling om Ringkøbing by skildret af maleren Jesper Kirkegaard kaldet Jesper maler. Hans værker med detaljerede billeder fra Ringkøbing 1800-1850 er gengivet i forstørret udgave så man kan betragte de mange detaljer.
Bunkerudstilling:
I 2008 blev en hidtil ukendt bunker lidt Nord for Søndervig, blotlagt i forbindelse med en storm. Bunkeren stod intakt med udstyr fra krigens tid. Det lykkedes museet at komme i kontakt med en tidligere tysk soldat der have opholdt sig netop i denne bunker under krigen: Gerhard Saalfeldt, som døde i 2013. På museet findes en kopi af denne bunker og en udstilling hvor Gerhard Saalfeld fortæller om sin opvækst i nazi Tyskland og sine år som ung soldat.

The museum in Ringkøbing is located in a former doctor's home. The museum has a exhibition about Ringkøbing portrayed by the painter Jesper Kirkegaard, also known as Jesper The Painter. His works with detailed pictures os Ringkøbing from 1800 to 1850 are represented in a larger scale so it is possible to study the many details.
The bunker exhibition
In 2008 an up till now unknown bunker from WW2 was revealed nearby, a little North of Søndervig after a storm. The bunker was intact with equipment from the war. The museum suceed in getting into contact with a former German soldier, who has stayed in this specific bunker: Gerhard Saalfeld who died in 2013. At the museum there is a copy of the bunker and an exhibiton where Gerhard Saalfeldt tells about his childhood in Nazi-Germany and his years as a young soldier.
