In the center of Mariakirchen, Germany, Bayern stands an old fountain. It is listed in the German Monument Registers.

The fountain and the column with Maria (German: Mariensäule) has originally created around 1880. It has been re-newed in 1959 and in the years 1995-2003.

The fountain stands on a granite pedestal. The sculpture of Maria is painted golden.
