Lone Walnut Cemetery has many examples of hand-made grave markers. Some have just a couple of initials, such as this one of someone we only know as C. W.; others have no names at all; and some have names or other writing that was hand-etched so shallow that they cannot be read anymore (except perhaps, by the shaving creme trick). FindAGrave (usually a wealth of information) has nothing on C. W. But the rootsweb page (link below) says that this is probably the marker for Charles Wallace, also known as Henry Wesley Wallace; but that the confusion may be that this (possibly 5 month old baby) was buried by minister Charles Williams. Who knows!
