This Spanish American memorial is a white marble stone reminiscent of the headstone used to commemorate these veterans. It is located on the median on Robert S. Kerr Street, alongside a memorial to Vietnam veterans. There are eight veterans from this local area who fought in the Spanish American War.

This memorial is a white marble stone located within a low brick wall. Above the monument fly three flags - the flag of Oklahoma, the current flag of the U.S., and the original 13-star U.S. flag.
