This is the so-called 'Stadtkirche St. Dionysius', which is the main church in Böblingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's an lutheran church located at the 'Schlossberg'. It is listed in the German Monument Registers.

The exact date when the church was built is unknown. But it is surely between 1200 and 1250. The church is first mentioned in 1275. So its oldest parts are about 750-800 years old.

The church has been changed, re-built and renovated several times through the centuries.

The church has been destroyed during World War II. In 1949/50 it has been re-built.
