This is the so-called 'Stadtkirche St. Dionysius', which is the main church in Böblingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's an lutheran church located at the 'Schlossberg'. It is presented on an old picture taken 1943.

This is the so-called 'Stadtkirche St. Dionysius', which is the main church in Böblingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's an lutheran church located at the 'Schlossberg'. It is presented on an old picture taken 1943.

The exact date when the church was built is unknown. But it is surely between 1200 and 1250. The church is first mentioned in 1275.

The church has been destroyed during World War II. In 1949/50 it has been re-built.


The picture has been taken by Ansgar Walk on 10/12/1943 after the air raid on Böblingen, when the church was destroyed.
