Oklahoma was granted statehood in 1907. In 2007, she celebrated her centennial. Throughout the State, cities and companies purchased these lovely clocks (some two-faced and some with four faces). They stand in view to remind its citizens of the commemoration of our statehood.
Wynnewood's clock is located on the center median of Robert S. Kerr Street, across from the famous Eskridge Hotel, which coincidentally was built the year Oklahoma became a state in 1907. The clock has two faces with Roman numerals. Above each face are the words: "Est. 1998 / Wynnewood".
