Waldo Block; Also known as Waldo Building (1886, restored 1984) is located at 201-215 SW Washington and 431-439 SW Second Avenue. The Italianate style, cast-iron facade building has the name "WALDO" above the main entrance (see gallery photo). It was named after Judge John B. Waldo, who served on the Oregon Supreme Court. Underground tunnels connect the building to the waterfront, although all have been blocked off for safety.
