Wynnewood is a town of about 2200 people, first settled in 1886 on the Santa Fe railroad line. It lies 60 miles south of Oklahoma City. The town has many historical buildings, including the well-known Eskridge Hotel which houses a fascinating museum.

Across the street from the old hotel is this two-story brick commercial building on the southwest corner of Dean A. McGee and Robert S. Kerr. On the brick wall on the second level, a painted Coca-Cola sign asks us to "REFRESH YOURSELF / DRINK COCA-COLA". It shows a hand, holding a bottle of coke.
