Weddle Funeral Services is located across the street from Loan Oak and St. Mary cemeteries in Stayton. They provide cremation services and have a chapel that features a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design.
Possibly in business as early as the late 1800s, Weddle is a full-service provider for the small town of Stayton, Oregon. It is believed by the current owners to be one of the oldest businesses in Stayton. It was named for William Weddle, an imbalmer who bought the business from the previous owner in 1920. Mr. Weddle also served briefly as mayor of Stayton.
