This small insect hotel is maintained by a local school. It is located at Potsdam's Hermannswerder peninsula - one of the greenest areas in Brandenburg's capital.

The structure is about 1.5 meters (5 feet) wide and 1 meter (3 feet) high. It uses all kind of material from hollow bricks to cardboard and different kinds of wood.
