An old wooden roadside inn with arcade was built in 1712. Czech writer Vaclav Hanka was born in this building on 10th June 1791. At this time there is an unchangeable exposition about life and work of Václav Hanka and an exiguous exposition about events of Prussian-Austrian war in 1866 is being prepared. Another native from Horineves is MUDr. Otakar Jedlicka (1845 - 1883), author of the first essay about Prussian-Austrian war in 1866 written in Czech that has a title "Fights in Bohemia and Moravia during the war in l866“. It was tint published already in 1867.

V dnešním dome c. p. 10 se 10.6.1791 narodil významný ceský buditel, básník, spisovatel a filolog Václav Hanka, žák J. Dobrovského. Široké verejnosti je však znám predevším jako autor padelaných staroslovanských del, tolik proslavených rukopisu Královédvorského a Zelenohorského.
Bývalý zájezdní hostinec je drevená lomenice s tremi osami podloubí. Na slavného rodáka upozornuje socha vedle domu a pametní deska na fasáde.
