From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street for 2.7 miles. Turn left on FR2059 and continue for 0.7 miles to the junction with FR-610, an unmarked road. Turn left and continue on FR-610 for about 0.3 miles to the line between S20 and 29, and the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 475' E of FR-610, NW of a barbed wire fence corner post. There are two U-posts on each of which are mounted PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs. Found two western junipers with scribed or healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. There is a LOCATION POSTER on the nearer bearing tree.
What property is this mark defining?:
The land to the SE is private property, else National Forest.
