From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street for 2.7 miles. Turn left on FR2059 and continue for 0.4 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 340' W of FR2059, about 2' NE of a sturdy barbed wire fence corner post. There are two U-posts on each of which are mounted PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs. In addition there is a bent-over red and white L-post. Found two ponderosa pines with healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. There is a LOCATION POSTER on the more distant bearing tree.


What property is this mark defining?:
The land to the SW is private property, else National Forest.
