New Library built in 1977. Trees are so grown up around the building, you can only see it clear from the front entrance sidewalk.

Dedicated June 20, 1919, this was the final Carnegie library granted and opened in Iowa. It was designed by Proudfoot, Bird, and Rawson of Des Moines and used until August 12, 1977; the building is now a school offices.
