In Metamora, at the base of the water tower with the name of the village on it, is the Metamora Fire Department.
The fire station is located on Davenport Street, near the intersection with Walnut.
The building is a single story brick building with four bays, two facing Davenport Street and two facing Walnut. Entrances also are on both roads. The sign is over one of the bays toward Davenport Street. There are some memorials by the entrance facing Davenport.
I could not find a web site run by the village for the fire station. On another source, it lists the department having 25 volunteer staff, and 0 paid staff. Metamora is a village of about 3600 people. There is quite a bit of rural country surrounding it, as well.
