This sculptured sarcophagus is located on the lawn outside the Wien Museum Karlsplatz.

It is unknown whether this sarcophagus was intended to actually be used as such...or whether the intention was to have it serve as a work as a piece of art. The plque at the site merely informs us:

"Carl Wollek
SARCOPHAGUS AND TOMBSTONE FIGURE FOR ADRIENNE NEUMANN, 1912
Bronze
Wien Museum"

The sarcophagus has whimsical depicitions of children (or are they cherubs) playing musical instruments, horns, triangle, accordian, guitar, etc.
