The bench mark is cut into the north west face of a standing stone on Danby Rigg, a ridge between Danby Dale & Little Fryup, a mile and a half south of Danby village. The stone stands alongside a bridleway known as Church Way and just a few feet away from a triangulation pillar. Both are listed on the Ordnance Survey database so I`ve listed them as separate Waymarks.
Height at this spot is 312 metres.
