Danby Moor trigpoint is located on Danby Rigg, a ridge separating Danby Dale and Little Fryup, about a mile & a half south of Danby village, North Yorkshire. The pillar sits alongside a bridlepath known as Church Way. It was constructed in September 1947 and received it`s last maintenance visit in May 1981. Height at this location is 312 metres.
There is also a cut benchmark on a standing stone just a few feet away.
